Taking a Zoom Trip to the Library:

We can schedule a tour, a storytime, book talks, or provide research assistance via secure Zoom meetings.

Reserving Research Materials:

Contact the Children’s Library if you have topic-specific assignments for your classes and we can set aside materials for your students to check out. Please fill out the Educator Request Form.

STEAM Corner:

The STEAM Corner at Ridgefield Library is located in the Donofrio Technology Center. The STEAM Corner is restricted to use by CT library cardholders 12 years of age or older. Individuals wishing to use the equipment can reserve a two-hour slot during our open hours or submit a project request. If there are no advance reservations, usage is on first-come, first-served basis. Library cards from any Connecticut public library may be used at the Ridgefield Library. The out-of-state fee for a card (valid at Ridgefield Library only) is waived for teachers in Ridgefield schools. Children’s Online Event Calendar provides a comprehensive list of workshops, book clubs, STEAM activities and other weekly programs. All programs are currently virtual.

 Book recommendations by theme, age & grade are available and constantly updated.

 Book Bundles are curated selections of books for a specific person’s age and interest. These titles will be checked out to you and available for contactless pick up.

 Archived Online programs, book talks, activities, crafts & instruction are available at the Library’s YouTube Channel.
