Build resumes and cover letters. Search through sample resumes and cover letters as well as several keyword lists to help best communicate your skills and experience and enhance your resume. Use the resume builder to create and customize your resume and choose from four templates. 

To Get Started 
Click on the "Sign In/Register" button to register with your email address. A library card number from any Connecticut public library is needed.

Use Job Now for resume templates, resources, and help with resume writing. 

Submit your resume to receive constructive comments from a resume expert usually within 24 hours. For privacy, you do not need to include your name, address, e-mail, or any other identifying information when you submit your resume. You will retrieve the expert advice and comments through your account.

To Get Started 
Click on the blue "Login" button to sign in. Create an account by clicking on the blue "Sign up" link under the Login box. 

Google Docs

 

Instructions for Creating a Resume in Google Docs

  • Go to https://docs.google.com
  • If you have a Google account, sign in. If you do not have a Google account you'll need to create one. 
  • After you sign in select Resume from the Template Gallery. Select one of the five resume templates.
  • Fill out the resume with your information. 
  • Once completed you can download the resume by going to File then Download. Save it as a Microsoft Word (.docx) document. You may also save it as a PDF document or select any of the other file formats.
