2024 Summer Reading Program
Read & Record at least 20 minutes each day in your Beanstack Account. You can read any book, magazine, or audiobook that interests you! If you read for MORE THAN 20 MINUTES a day, that's awesome, but it will still only count as ONE DAY. SO, if you read for an hour on Tuesday, you get credit for reading and logging on Tuesday, but you can't divide those 60 minutes to count for other days that week. The goal is to read EVERY DAY--for at least 20 minutes.
Each day you read and log 20 minutes you are automatically entered in the Readers Raffle, which will be drawn weekly. Entries reset each week on Sunday. Winners are announced on Tuesdays.
Read and log at least 20 minutes a day to earn each virtual Reading Badge and associated rewards.

Each Monday there will be a different adventure-themed take & make available in the Lodewick Children's Library. One per child and while supplies last. Take & Make projects are geared towards students entering grades K-6.
Walk around Down-town Ridgefield and read "Once Upon a Book" by Grace Lin and Kate Messner, while also getting some exercise and visiting town. Pick up a handout at the Children's Services Desk to participate and finish the puzzle to earn a rubber duckie!
