How to get a library card?
Ridgefield residents may apply for a free Library card online or in person at the Circulation Desk. Please bring proof of residency in Ridgefield (a valid driver’s license, utility bill with street address, etc.) when picking up your new Library card.
Children through age 17 may have their own card, with (proof of Ridgefield residency) and signature of a parent or legal guardian.
What can you use your library card for?
Are you a Connecticut Resident? – You have Reciprocal Borrowing Privileges!
Residents of other Connecticut towns may borrow items from the Ridgefield Library by showing a valid card from their hometown library. Patrons of non-Bibliomation libraries will also need to show an ID. An expired card must be renewed at your hometown library before your visit.
